The first time the members of KUASAR met was in 2004. Even though the members of this string quartet came from different musical backgrounds, they had the same way of feeling and interpreting music, and they immediately struck a chord, which marked the beginning of their musical journey.  The KUASAR sound is an innovative and intricate blend of different music styles, spanning the 1900s to contemporary music; from Jazz, Ethnic, to Pop music.  Their wide repertory, which includes original compositions, is captivating and engaging. Even though they have only recently stepped onto the international music scene, the K.S.K. has already been invited to play at numerous important Jazz Festivals, and each band members regularly collaborate with well-known International Artists such as: TRILOK GURTU, JOSE CURA, ANTONELLA RUGGIERO, ROBERTO GATTO, PAOLO FRESU, STEFANO BATTAGLIA, GABRIELE MIRABASSI among others...Currently they are also working on a new project called "PLANCTON" with Gianni Pirollo, featuring the French Singer KELLY-JOYCE. KUASAR are constantly looking to create new sounds, innovative writing styles, and work both electronically and acoustically.
